This is our typical home inspection that catches common defects so you understand the investment you’re making.
Some homeowners want to make repairs to their house before they put it on the market and will make repairs using their inspection report as a baseline reference. Please understand that most buyers will still want to perform their own inspection even if the seller has already had an inspection done.
Most builders offer a one-year warranty on a new home. We perform a full home inspection before the builder’s warranty expires. Just because your home is new doesn’t necessarily mean it is defect free.

Mike Levang is the owner/inspector for Levang Home Inspections. Mike got his start in the construction industry as an apprentice carpenter, working his way up to superintendent, managing projects from 500k to well over 100 mil. Mikes job was to manage all aspects of the project, including safety, budget, schedule and quality assurance for all trades. After 35 years in the industry, he chose to leave the high pressure position, where his goal went from making large business owners happy to making potential homes owners happy.
With Mike’s extensive background in construction, his love for home remodeling, seemed to be a perfect fit for a transition to home inspecting. Knowing all homes are not created equal, Mike’s knowledge and attention to detail serve him well and allows him to pass that information on to his clients to help them maximize the knowledge of the home they intend to sell or buy.
Mike and his wife Kari have enjoyed coming to Sunriver/Bend area for many years and completely love this area, so much, they bought a home in 2019. Then when the time was right, they moved to Sunriver permanently. Mike and Kari also have 4 amazing children who love to bring their families to visit as well.

While Levang Home Inspections encourages our clients to walk through the home with us, we understand that you may be too busy, and may not have time to do so.
Regardless of whether or not you attend the inspection, we will compile a comprehensive Spectora report, which includes all of the information you need to determine the condition of the home.
We will deliver our report within 24 hours of the conclusion of your home inspection, so that you can quickly access a full overview of our findings – and discuss them with us and your agent.
